Day after day, in the temple courts and from house to house, they never stopped teaching and proclaiming the good news that Jesus is the Messiah. Acts 5:42 (NIV) Over the past several years, God has allowed me to minister to men in the Rochester, NY area. During that time, I met a number of godly men who’ve become dear brothers in Christ with whom I regularly connect. On one overnight visit, my good friend Dean Tzounakos and his bride Holly hosted me at their house where we enjoyed fellowship, food, and fun: what a blast! In time, Dean and I both experienced significant employment changes. God called Dean to drive trucks and me to become a bivocational pastor (i.e., a pastor with two vocational jobs: one ministry, one secular).
